Who You Are: Requirements for Joining Our Firm

At IGD, we value character over credentials. Although a military, law enforcement, or security background is ideal, it is not mandatory. We are more interested in who you are than what you are. Our most successful protectors come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have excelled because they are willing to learn, work hard, speak the truth, and perform exceptionally.

  • Physically Fit: You must meet the Physical Readiness Test standards during the pre-employment screening. We promote a healthy and active lifestyle among our protectors through yearly testing.

  • Honest and Trustworthy: You must undergo a comprehensive background investigation through BSIS. While issues may arise during this investigation, it may not necessarily disqualify an otherwise suitable candidate, as long as they are honest about their past.

  • An Effective Communicator: You must possess excellent communication skills, inspiring confidence through clear, certain, and reassuring responses and actions.

  • Service-Oriented: You are a skilled warrior who not only protects our clients but also provides exceptional service while doing so.
